Turquoise is a quintessential December birthstone (it's become more popular over the past few years - and seems to have overtaken topaz and zircon as the preferred December stone).

Its calming energy supports the throat chakra and helps with speaking your truth, being confident in your voice, and leveraging your wisdom. It is also said to curb moodiness and mood swings

Amethyst  

Amethyst is a stone of balance, peace, serenity, calm, and connection. It's a perfect energy to tap into during this season, where we can find ourselves easily thrown into rush and chaos, if we aren't taking steps to ground ourselves and regroup.

It is associated with the crown chakra, located at the top of the head. As such, it is said to be a connection to spirituality and the divine, as well as helping to increase intuition. 

Pyrite

Sparkling pyrite can help boost creativity, aid in manifestation, boost self confidence and willpower, and nourish your solar plexus chakra. It is also a stone of protection, helpful for shielding negative energy.

It's a perfect stone for December to spark the magic of the season and remind you of glitter and lighthearted wonder.

Clear Quartz

Reminiscent of the snow and ice that may be outside your window, clear quartz literally looks like water that was frozen so deeply it became permanently crystallized.

Clear quartz is a perfect stone for gazing. It's also a great stone for programming for any intention: so if you have a goal you are working toward, clear quartz can help - no matter what that is.
