Here's How to Love Yourself More - Right Now


Self-love is an incredibly important part of our overall well-being, and it's something we would all benefit from practicing more of.

Self love and self care are essential for our physical, emotional and mental wellbeing. Taking care of ourselves can help us better manage stress, cope with challenging situations, and feel more fulfilled.

Self love is an attitude that begins with understanding and accepting ourselves, our own needs and wants, and respecting our bodies.

Self care is the actions we take to meet our needs and look after ourselves. It can involve activities that nurture our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing, such as getting enough sleep, eating healthy, exercising, taking time for yourself, and engaging in activities that bring you joy.

Self love and self care can improve our self-esteem, reduce our anxiety and depression, and help us to better manage difficult emotions.

It can also lead to more meaningful connections with others and help us to have more fulfilling relationships. Self love and self care is vital for our overall health and wellbeing, and should be prioritized in our lives.


Fortunately, there are many ways to promote self-love and self-care, and one of them is with crystals!

Crystals have been used since ancient times to promote healing, and they can be a great tool for self-love.

Here are some tips for using crystals to promote self-love:

  1. Choose the right crystal for you. Different crystals have different properties and energies, so choose a crystal that resonates with your energy and intentions. Some crystals that are particularly good for self-love include rose quartz, rhodochrosite, and rhodonite.

  2. Set an intention. Before using your crystal, take a few moments to set an intention for using it. This can be anything: "I am open to loving myself more," "I am learning to love myself more each day," "I will find something each day to be proud of myself for" or something similar.

  3. Hold or place the crystal. Once you've set an intention, hold the crystal in your hand or place it on your body where it feels most comfortable.

  4. Meditate with the crystal. Sit in a comfortable position and take a few deep breaths. Visualize the crystal radiating positive energy and promoting self-love. It doesn't have to be long (try it for just 5 minutes!) or complicated (just sit and breathe). 

  5. Journal. After meditating with your crystal, take a few moments to journal about your experience. Writing down your thoughts and feelings can help to further your self-love journey. You could also explore some prompts such as, "what are 5 ways I can show myself some love this week?" or list 10 things about yourself that you love and/or appreciate.

By taking the time to bring self love into our awareness and use crystals to help support our self-love, we can strengthen our well-being "muscles" and, over time, create a more positive, loving relationship with ourselves.
